- Growing up in my mother's studio with the freedom to explore and create with many materials. Looking at things with her. Listening to birds and the wind. Everything a wonderful composition. Climbing trees. Knowing grown-up artists who kept this same sense of wonder about nature and creativity. This is who I am as an artist and teacher. I work primarily now in clay, but also in painting, printmaking, and drawing. I teach children and adults in a variety of media.
