Dream a Little Dream

One of my old hearts about a dream and my place in it.

The coffered ceiling and the animal head on the wall were friendly and inviting in the dream.
That dream rocked my world....
Remembered in porcelain, embellished with antique buttons that were my grandmother's. about 8" high. private collection.
Still remembering. Ever have a dream like that?

Hey- I emailed you a couple or more times, but have not gotten answers--- so I'm assuming they never got to you- either that, or you just don't want to talk to me (-; Since you wrote after I posted on this here page, I assume you get notices from the blog--- soooo if you get this, what is an email I can write to that actually receives missives of the electronic kind that appear on your screen? ...I responded to your hotmail and would have thought it would have gotten there; but not sure... miss ya, k

heh heh--- I gave up- I can't get to you in a regular way--- this keeps coming back- so here goes a third time:

As stated below- I hate Microsoft--- after I wrote the below and sent it to you, it came back telling me it can’t be delivered- and it has something to do with the damned incompatability of Microsoft with itself... ugh--- here goes again:

Oh Jeez- I fucking hate microsoft--- you see, because I have responded to your email more than once, for some reason, hotmail and outlook cancel each other out and I lose my word processor- it shuts down and all gets funky and takes forever to do things... uhg--- you don't want to open a gmail account per chance? (-;

heh heh heh--- love the conundrum about the fly! Kill the little sucker.

They were looking for full time teacher at UGA? ... My good friend Axel left the Governor School (she and Joe, who at one time were best of friends and who started this department together, got into some kind of a not seeing eye to eye thing that was like watching a divorce--- In the end I think it was a failure of leadership at all levels--- anyway, long sad and sordid story about what happens to all institutions- but when institutions are your friends, it really sucks)- anyway, she left and we needed a graphic designer for a while... I guess that would not have been up your ally either eh? ...Your mom though...

Glad you are sort of "teaching"--- who is paying? The parents, or is this a school thing? Axel used a great head hunter firm to get herself a teaching job in the American School in London, yes England- she now teaches brats like me--- I can find the name of the head hunter thingie for you- it specializes in finding jobs for teachers...

I'm doing/making that thing that is on my Solipsism blog--- it will eventually be a book- am drawing the final pages, than transfer to the computer, than print, like, 350 "place ad here" pages, and then have to try to bind them together... since I am printing them on velum (thus the inclusion of always two pages, front and back, mimicking the transparency of vellum, on the blog--- I guess one day I will put some explanation on it- when I put all the pages down maybe) the whole thing might fail because velum is such a crappy paper to manipulate... but what else have I got to do with myself- trying and failing isn't too bad (:

I do have another blog, one that actually has all my ravings http://theravingartist.blogspot.com/

this one is more colorful (-;

Only 3 adverbs in an old NY Times! Man, what kills me these days is the total lack of suffix "ly" as in "that went smooth" instead of "smoothly"- everybody does it, all the time, and on national TV--- and, yeah, I understand it happening in all "them" damned reality shows that pollute the airwaves (or as it is, cables), but it happens even on news reports! Sometimes even on NPR!!!! ... and sorry for all the run on sentences above--- and with my spell-checker disabled, sorry for all the errors too---heh heh

ok, I'll calm down and go eat breakfast (-;

later, k
